I'm rather inclined to pretend to be one myself, simply because she wants one so desparately! Her sister has (I think) one, and now she wants one too.

She's 9, likes swimming, cycling, Nintendogs, cooking, webkins, most things, actually, that a 9 year old enjoys. She's not a norma no-mates by any shot, but I can't seem to find her a pen friend.

sc, thanks. I think if it were possible it would be lovely at that age - it'd just be sending photographs of one another!

She has a little friend here that she sends pictures too, just finds anything to colour in & gets me to send it. He sends her the same back, or a picture he has drawn at kindy.

She sends a friend in the UK postcards of animals here [were in OZ too] which she loves!

Sorry 2sugars. We have been at swimming all afternoon.

Will be lovely. We just did a 3 month trip of UK. My dd loved it. Didn't get to Oxford but was on our list...just ran out of time.
