When do the the state school summer holidays start?

dd's last day is Fri July 18th but mine (teach in secondary) is July 24 (almost week later......grrrr)

It depends on you r LEA and also the school. They will vary

depends on LEA and then individual school. So check LEA website for the dates they issue, individual schools need to apply to have different dates to their LEA. I think Leicestshire is one of the earliest.
