Portable DVD players

Stupid question here, can you hook up portable dvd players to the telly? Am thinking about getting a portable one instead of a new normal one

I know we can with the one we have Im not sure if its a standard thing though

They are all different.

You can with a lot of them but they don't always comes with the AV lead.
