Do you ever write long posts and then not post them?

I do, often. Sometimes it's because I think I've been too blunt, or I'm complaining about DH. I get all my feelings down and then don't post. Maybe it makes me feel better.

OP posts:

I sometimes start writing a post and then realise I am rambling pointlessly so delete it.

DachshundsThroughTheSnow · 23/12/2022 21:26

Absolutely! Same with texts…

limitededitionbarbie · 23/12/2022 21:29

Yes. All the time.

Maverickess · 23/12/2022 21:37

Yeah, I realise it's just a load of waffle that fell out of my brain or I've gone off on a tangent that bears little resemblance to the thread or OP so I delete it, but yes sometimes ranting on like that and writing it all down makes it all feel a bit better.

zimmerreturn · 23/12/2022 21:38

Yes. I have one now but can't face the possible nasty responses.

TiggeryBear · 23/12/2022 21:39

Yep.
I've deleted & re-written this so many times too. 🤦🏼‍♀️

This is why I do it. To get my thoughts in order

Sunnytwobridges · 23/12/2022 22:32

I do this all the time. I usually don't post them as I feel I'm rambling or not making my point very well. I'm not great with words so usually another poster will say it better than I ever could.

yes. Maybe I put too much info or really who cares what I think (least of all me). Sometimes just working out my own thoughts & then I get bored by them, too.
