Anyone From Stroud Area?

We are considering moving and we can't afford to buy the type of house we want where we live right now. I have seen a really nice house in Stonehouse whih is fairly close to Stroud and I wondered what the area was like and whether there was much going on?

We are going to view on Saturday and will have a nose round the area but its not the same as living there 24/7 so any info would be appreciated.

HI, I live in Gloucester and as far as I know, Stonehouse is nice. THe Stroud area in general is quite a good place to live, as its semi-rural but near everything you could need (supermarkets etc0. I don't actually know Stonehouse but I've never heard anything bad about it- and I would have done in my previous job. It's also really handy for the motorway. HTH
