I don't know your son and mine are two young for me to have suitable suggestions. But will share with you what dps family did for his 18th to hopefully give you back the will to live.
DP is VERY reserved. Creative, Sensitive. Can be assertive when necessary on a one to one but more than two people about and he just clams up.
All of his family are in your face types from a rough area of a nearby large city. (I do sometimes wonder if he was found on their doorstep as he is nothing like any of them!) He was the oldest grandchild, for his 18th they planned a huge family outing to an italian restaurant.
The entertainment for his family was watching his torture at the strippagram they booked for him. His uncles held him down and would not even let him go to the loo. The stripper was on the table in front of him bending over etc, you can just imagine. His dad and uncles were egging the stripper on. His own mother and grandmother and aunts screamed with laughter at his reaction.

Poor dp, he felt compelled to tell me about it one night when we were in an italian place that reminded him of that night. He said he still has nightmares about the tassles....

Anyway, maybe if your son is more adventurous, i might have given you and idea
