Some time ago there was a thread about making wills & I mentioned that there is a charity facility whereby you can get a will made for free (or for a 'donation' at the time I couldn't find out any further information but the following was in today's Money Telegraph;

Will Aid is a fundraising campaign which only takes place every two years, it is designed to encourage people to make a will & to help alleviate poverty around the world.

During November 1,800 solicitors have pledged to draw up wills free of charge (you can make a suggested donation to Will Aid if you want).

www.willaid.org.uk (for a list of solicitors)

tel: 0870 606 0239

Hope this might be useful information.

Will Aid is a regular charity thing, Sofia, whereby the lawyers donate some of the fee they would charge for doing your will to charities such as Action Aid and Save the Children.
