hello gurus, what does a square with a circle inside with a dot in the middle mean? does it mean I can tumble dry it? while we're at it what does a crossed-out triangle and a crossed-out circle mean?

Hi, hatter! Square with circle is tumble drying OK (or even recommended, I'm not sure) - crossed out circle is do not dry clean - not sure about triangle, may be no bleach, will check.

thanks sue - fantastic - apparently it means can be tumble dried but only on low setting. good job I checked coz it's cotton and it wouldn't have occured to me to do it on low

Good link, Sue! (Your one dot means low heat, hatter. And the triangle is no chlorine bleach.)
