So yeah I'm new to think and I'm reading posts but have no clue of what any of the abbreviations mean so get a bit confused 🫣🤭. Would love if someone could spare a minute to tell me them please!! Smile

I thought CF was cheeky f**ker - or is that a context thing too

@JodieT29

It can be incredibly confusing even with the list!

DF = dear father, but is also sometimes used as dear friend.

Similarly BF can be boyfriend or best friend.

Context is everything but it doesn't always help with long, rambling posts 😉

Even more confusing are the ones where the characters are referred to as friendA, friendB, friendC and friendD!

I found GP confusing
I couldn't understand why some posters were involving their doctor in certain situations.
It was grandparents 😩😂

To add to the confusion I've seen it used once or twice to refer to guinea pigs!

Guinea pigs !!!
Oh wow ! 😂

Or indeed breastfeed/ing in certain contexts.

@NightmareSlashDelightful oops, yes, forgot that one! I am very old

Ending sentences with ha ha is generally frowned upon … Wink
