Bit of a strange one but wondered if anyone on here knows.
My dad had to go into hospital during the night and when he left this morning it was before he could use his freedom pass to get on public transport.
The nurse who discharged him said that if he shows his medical patient bracelet to the bus driver he would be ok to get on for free as it's a rule that all bus drivers know. When he got on the bus the driver knew nothing about it but thankfully let him in anyway.
Just wondering who was right. Was the nurse just fobbing him off to get him out of the way ( the doctor had previously said they would arrange transport home but when he left his shift he'd left no note and the nurse knew nothing if it) or is it true and that particular driver didn't know.
