ds poked himself in the eye!

my 4yr old ds has poked himself in the eye, quite a nasty bloody scratch there now, when he did it he said it didn't hurt but now he says it stings, his vision seems fine, I don't know whether to take him to see someone or wait untill tomorrow. Any advice please.

As long as its not on his iris or pupil, I'd say just see how he is tomorrow.

ds2 was accidentally caught in the eye with garden rake a few months ago. As he was a baby, I took him to a&e to be checked out. The doctor said there shouldn't be too much cause for concern unless the iris or pupil have been damaged.

Thanks for reply, took him to a&e as advised by NHS direct, he is absolutely fine, just a burst blood vessel, feel much better now, would have worried all night otherwise, dh is a away so on my own, thanks again.
