how come a heart op still hasnt stopped me wanting a smoke!i thought it would help with the cravings going through all that.not at all i would rob for one!!!!!!!!

It would be great if some sort of health 'scare' could stop us doing something that we're constantly told is bad for us.
Not sure what to say - just thought your thread looked all lonely with only your message on it.

How about one in three people who smoke die of it?

340 people a day in the Uk die of smoking related diseases? That is a jumbo jet crashing every day.

How about smoking being the UK's major cause of double leg amputations, blindness and impotence? Not enough of a health scare in those? How about chosing to continue smaking 40 cigs a day at age 35 being more dangerous to your heath than a life time in the most dangerous occupation (deep sea fishing)

Its because you are addicted to the nicotine thats in the fag, nothing to do with inhaling or pleasure or anything. Its drug addiction.
