Just wondering if anyone has ever built some sort of granny annexe for a family member?
We live over an hour away from my mom and she is approaching a time when she will need more care but there is literally no housing in the local area that she has the budget to buy.
We have a potential spot in our garden where we could put a single story dwelling but our local council is quite restrictive. I was thinking one of those pre-built type buildings would be good and wondered if anyone has ever bought one of those, or had some tips on the types of structures that the planners might look favourably upon.
