Queens awards (OBE, MBE etc)

I nominated someone for an award 2 years ago and I was recently been contacted and asked to update my nomination. Is everyone asked to do this or is the nomination being shortlisted/seriously considered?

This happened to me and the person did receive an award in the next round. Fingers crossed for you.
