I had a smart meter installed on 10th June. I didn't want one but the old style meter had stopped working.
Long story short but my bill has just arrived for £2200.00 for three months and we normally pay two to three hundred per quarter.
The number of kilowatt hours is double what we use in a year for May June and July.
The reading has been calculated by assuming that the old meter reading reached 99999 (it stopped at 92334) and then added the 00383 from the 'smart' meter.
Has this happened to anyone else.
Just another bloody issue to deal with.
