Resources for Alcoholism?

After a long period of suspicion, someone very close to me has ‘revealed’ they are struggling with alcohol dependency.

Looking for any resources you may know of? Useful websites or charities that could offer any support? (They are already attending AA.)

What can I do to best support them? I am aware of the pitfalls of supporting someone in this situation but am still keen to do so.

Please tell me your experiences if you have any advice to share.
thanks ❤️ x

Hello @Oioicaptain well looks like there’s not much out there! BUT I did find a few useful things; a website called www.breakingfreeonline.com which is a free guided recovery program. I thought looked v good.
Also mind the mental health charity have lots of info www.mind.org.uk/information-support/guides-to-support-and-services/addiction-and-dependency/addiction-and-dependency-resources/

my relative has started going to AA and says that’s a great help. Xx
