To put a long story short, I have a 1 year old son with my ex partner. We have a court order in place expressing that I have my son during the week then my ex partner will have him 1 night one weekend then 2 the following weekend.

My ex partner told me he wanted to take our son for a week in October to Cyprus in which I said no because I have genuine concerns, his dad and step mum live out there so that's why he wants to go. But it was only last year that I was reporting his step mother to the police over an incident that happened between myself, her and my son.

He's now threatening me with court saying he's going to get their permission because I'm saying no. Should I be worried? Can the court say yes on my behalf when I'm 100% against it?

Yes, of course they can order it. However they will look at all the facts first before ordering anything.
