Just watched this old film with robert redford and barbara streisland.
Have wanted to watch it for ages but iam a bit dissapointed nothing much seemed to happen and I kept waiting for the interesting bit but then the film eas over...
My sis raved about this film but I don't know if we are too used to sensasionalism (sp) in films today to enjoy the slower pace of old films?

Anyone got any other titles to look out for? Sis says Love Story?

Im watching Picnic at hanging Rock on 444 this very minute.
Very weird and atmospheric.
Not romantic though sorry.

I love West Side Story - do you like musicals?

I think the way we were is just an incredibly turgid, dull film, rather than it being a pace then versus now thing.

Rest assured there'll be loads of old titles worth watching. If it's Robert Redford you're after, how about Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, or the Sting? Or do you want specifically romance films?

If you're going to watch Love Story you will need a serious amount of tissues. So, so sad
