I'm having a couple of these a day at the moment. Is there anyone you can contact to stop them getting through?

mars lady, or anyone infact, how do you do links?

bundle · 24/11/2004 19:37

bp - see that box on the bottom right of your screen? with the smileys in? i paste in

this bit:
description

and then paste in the url into the bit where url is (then delete the word url) and then type whatever you like where it says description and delete that word too.
make sense?

bundle · 24/11/2004 19:39

this bit meaning:

\ link{url\description}

(but without the gaps before the word link)

bakedpotato · 24/11/2004 19:41

never noticed that bit

bundle · 24/11/2004 19:43

there'll be no stopping you now...

I have registered with TPS several times and it stops calls for a short period of time, and then they seem to start up again. I have even barred numbers from getting through who have withheld their number. It still didn't stop me from receiving no less than 9 telephone messages on two home numbers from that annoying American woman recorded message who told me I have won a zillion pounds, just call this number.

You can't even call the (premuim rate) number because they don't care either way - they have still gotton your money.

Apparently, it's all fine unless they are calling you from overseas, then our "laws" don't apply, and the call barring doesn't work. ARGH!
