I have a 2&4 year old.
Me and partner work full time.

We seem to be eating ready meals non stop because I feel like I haven't got time to cook proper meals.

Can anyone recommend any quick, easy family meals that I can cook please?
Literally something that might require 10-15 minutes of prep or something I can just stick in a pan and leave to cook!

Thanks!

Roasted tomatoes with pasta

  • throw tomatoes (small ones whole or cut into.chunks for bigger ones) in a dish. Add whole.garlic cloves (unpeeled), olive oil, splash of balsamic vinegar. Chilli flakes are optional. Bang in medium oven for about 45-60 minutes until collapsing. Serve with spaghetti and goats cheese/burrata/feta.

Look up chicken tray bakes and pick one you like!

My go to for quick easy has always been grilled/fried steak or chops, steamed veg and new potatoes.

One of our quick go to meals is Morrisons frozen breadcrumb fish cakes they take about 20 mins, with new potato’s (5 mins on the hob) and frozen veg in the steamer which takes around 5/6 mins.

Spag bol is really quick to make with some grated cheese on top and veg on the side.

Cottage pie done with frozen veg and frozen mash in the microwave, takes 10/15 mins tops then 5-10 mins in the oven to melt the cheese.
