My master key has detatched itself from the plastic 'holder'. Anyone know if you can get them done at the local keysmiths? Dh thinks I'll have to go to Ford, and they'll cost a fortune. [sad'

My DH works for a Ford related company and he says to phone your local Ford garage as the keys are specific to each car and they have to come from Germany (or something like that.) He thinks it should be about £25 to get a replacement.

Considering at his car rental place customers loose keys all the time he should know (the price is for ordinary customers as that is what they charge their rental customers for the inconvenience, as well as extra.)
