I have “accidentally” washed my cashmere jumper! Is there any way I can bring it back to life. TIA.

No.
When I put any delicates in the wash basket, I bag them, so I don’t accidentally throw them in the machine. I’ve learned this the hard way!

Sorry ,I've never found a way to rescue an abused cashmere jumper. Always needs to be washed by hand. I've ruined a few over the years. If you find a way though please do post!

No. Once it’s been washed incorrectly, it’s done for.
I lost hundreds of £ worth of jumpers when my “intense cold hand wash” cycle glitched and washed them at 40C instead of at 20C. I called the manufacturer because, you know, the washing machine is under warranty. And they refused to compensate me or admit the machine had glitched. They actually said, call us if it does it again and then we’ll send someone out! I replied that it won’t happen again as no way am I risking such a loss a second time with that machine.

No, sadly not. My beautiful cashmere jumper is now a cat blanket.

😧I have no clue about cashmere jumper revival but you could do this maybe? I have a couple of pairs of their gloves and they are lovely.

I always wash cashmere in the machine. With wool wash

if its’s shrunk you can soak in hair conditioner and gently stretch stretch stretch. It may make it wearable again

You can buy unfelting wash stuff that might help? Or try this: www.wikihow.com/Fix-Felted-Wool
