Hi everyone, please can anyone help?
I am currently unemployed, my partner works full time, we have a 1 year old and rent privately.
We receive universal credit to top up my partners wages. He has just been offered a new job, which means a pay rise, however it’s not enough for us to pay our bills and rent and everything without universal credit.
I was just wondering is there a maximum you can earn before you’re no longer entitled to universal credit? I’ve tried the online calculators but they are not accurate at all.
We are due to resign our tenancy agreement in a few days to renew our tenancy and I don’t want to sign if we’re no longer able to afford to stay here.
please tell me how i can work it out!
