Hi , on Thursday the 19th May, I had sex with my partner, I am sure this was 100% near ovulation with the symptoms I was having.
Our condom came off inside me! Was a right potch to get out. So after work that same day I went straight to the pharmacy and purchased Ellaone. I have the pharmacist all my dates (last period etc).
He freaked me out because he said I was so near ovulation I should get a copper coil as emergency contraception.
So I rang from work they said I had 5 days to get it done.
They booked me in today Monday 23rd. I've just been sent away from clinic. They told me it was too late.
I don't quite understand, because the nurse on the phone said it was fine. Now I have to wait till my next period in 10 days.
I've checked online and it says five days, so I don't believe it's too late? I'm having the complete horrors now.
