Building a "garden structure"???

We have a small garden and have designed our own "summer house" - very basic - 5 pillars to support a clear roof (glass or perspex or some such material" - how do we take this idea forward? do we need a hard landscaper? suppliers? someone to put it up??? any ideas? any people you can recommend? We live in North London.

Ouioui I think i would get in touch with a landscaper. Steer clear of a designer because you've already done that yourself and don't want to pay design fees! We're having some work done in our garden (basically a patio with retaining wall and a couple of steps and a pergola structure off the house) and contacted a few landscapers from the yellow pages. The landscaper would then have ideas about suppliers etc and you could take it from there.

NB We were surprised at the general apathy. Most of them seemed quite busy and appts to come view the work took a couple of weeks and then we had to chase them for the quotes. We also had wildly different quotes ranging from less than £3K to more than £6K.

Unfortunately we are in Yorkshire so no help with personal recommendations.
