am having a dim moment.... I thought I had to make a circle out of card and then cut a slit in it and fold it round IYSWIM but I don't think I need that much card and I don't want to waste any as I have to make 18.

Can anyone help? TIA

OK - done that - still seem to have a lot of excess though. is that just the way it has to be? I want to cut out the shapes beforehand and stick them together when the children are here

(why don't I just take the to a soft play place instead of all this faff for a party? )

cut it slightly smaller than a semicircle. make one up to get the correct size then use that as a guide. usually about a third of a circle. if that makes sense ha!

right - thanks - have done a small proto-type which DS1 approves of so will cut out a bigger one tonight (and really check out those soft play places for next year.... )
