Is it for school?

bouncy castle/slide
bat the rat
throw a wet sponge at a teacher

I have a great idea if you have alot of singles in the area.

If it is at school do you have a gardening club? If so you could have a stall selling some of the produce. Ours sold tomato plants last year.

face painting
tombola
treasure hunt

A Picnic Basket Auction

A single woman or teen makes up a picnic basket. They try to make it as full of yummy stuff and attractive as possible. The the single men or teens then bid on the baskets. The highest bidder gets the basket and gets to share it with the Woman/teen who has made up the basket. They do this in my hometown once a year and its a huge hit and a great way to meet a new date. The proceeds could go to the school

I went to a fantastic one last year. It was outside, with lots of outdoor type things going on, bouncy castle, water slide, and a big inflatable car racing circuit with go kart type cars.

As well as that there were various stalls around the outside of the school field, and mixed in with those were a barbeque and also a stall selling strawberries and cream.

The school also sold balloons to each parent, and then let them go in the centre of the field, all tagged, to see which one travelled the furthest.

We always have someone selling stawberrys and pimms
and also for the kindlings a face painting stall, £1.00 for a medium size £1.50 for a full face (Spiderman/flowerfairy type thing)
A treasure hunt for the kids
Instead of a raffle with some smaller prizes we tend to do one huge hamper with expensive luxury goodies.
Big BBQ usually goes down well.
Inflatable assault course goes down a storm but is expensive.

we always tap the local garden centre/nurseries for a few plants to sell.
