Central Heating Question

Anyone know how easy it is to totally remove a radiator from a heating system, its powered by a condensing combi boiler. if its easy do you just
drain the sys and remove the rad and excess piping and just rejoin the two pipes?? I just want to make sure before i try it as i dont want to bugger it up when its getting soooo cold
