has anyone posted this yet?

SheikYerbouti · 03/01/2008 16:10

IO did that once when I was 7, and only because I was playiong Mary in the nativity

Boco · 03/01/2008 16:12

I feel quite sad for samuels creator, i think maybe he's just not too good at it. here's another one he's made They're just all wonky and scraggy. Samuel made me weep with laughter and i'm sure that's not the desired reaction.

flatmouse · 03/01/2008 16:12

OK not read all the comments (read the first 12 pages earlier). I couldn't tear myself away from this last night - it was a freak show totally.

Couldn't believe granny showing doll to Harry. Kind of sent message "I don't need to love you any more (real) Harry, as i've got (bizarre, freakish) doll Harry now"

Also was stunned at travelling to US to collect doll that was fedex'd anyway! Why not fedex it all the way to UK??

So much left me almost speechless with this program, seriously did wonder if it was a wind up! Good job it wasn't broadcast April 1st!

tangent · 03/01/2008 16:14

my sister in law lived next to a woman who had a doll in a pram, SIL had just had first baby and was terrified

hairycaterpillar · 03/01/2008 16:14

rofl - twofalls! that is way way ott!

talking of "shy kids" earlier in thread, when we bought our house there was one in the corner of the hall...and all the time we were viewing I was thinking oh poor kid she is probably terrified of us...only after we left did dh and I realise it was a doll...weird not cute.

SheikYerbouti · 03/01/2008 16:14

Boco · 03/01/2008 16:18

Hey I didn't recognise you in that outfit IGW, but you made me lololol earlier with your dad making you eat gravel and then killing you.

SheikYerbouti · 03/01/2008 16:19
Grin
Blandmum · 03/01/2008 16:26

Wow! baby Samuel truly does have a face like a slapped arse.

flatmouse · 03/01/2008 16:27

I was just wondering where you were IGW - someone elses' name made me think of you and that i hadn't seen you around for a while

fortyplus · 03/01/2008 16:29

Would be quite funny to take on to a MN meet-up and feed it sausage rolls and Fruit Shoots - especially the prem one

GColdtimer · 03/01/2008 16:34

oops, hairy caterpillar, I think I meant to post to this picture, not the one to the husband

this one

tangent · 03/01/2008 16:35

how many people are there out there that do this dolls thing? i was quite shocked as i'd never heard of it

Boco · 03/01/2008 16:37

OMG medical equipment not included but available by special arrangement! That really is odd

pointydog · 03/01/2008 16:42

well maybe I'm very wrong but I can only think people buy those premature ones because they have recently lost a premature baby. It's all a bit grim

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 03/01/2008 16:45

Wouldn't you just be embarrassed to be pushing a doll around in a pram?

DH and i watched 5 mins then turned it off in horror. why do the dolls need to be 'reborn' anyway? aren't the originals pretty expensive? are they just those dolls you see on the back of magazines?

Boco · 03/01/2008 16:45

I guess so, seems a very unhealthy way of remembering though doesn't it - with all the wires and tubes. Quite disturbing.

muppetisacat · 03/01/2008 16:45

I think the chap who's making baby Samuel (struggle typing this as that's my ds2's name!) and the like has something wrong with the timer on his oven... or is he going for the Edvard Munch scream look?

pointydog · 03/01/2008 16:46

oh yes, I agree boco. And avery odd job to be creating such things

pointydog · 03/01/2008 16:46

rofl @ muppet

sparklygothkat · 03/01/2008 16:47

Thats too freaky... my girls were on CPAC when they were born, and that seems so wrong!!

Boco · 03/01/2008 16:49

I know, poor Samuel. It's like he was made with a spade. I'm quite fond of him, especially with some of his weirdo outfits and his tiny sparrow legs. Bargain too.

pointydog · 03/01/2008 16:53

Samuel does make me laugh. But I think I would be frightened of him at night
