DEAD Headlice?

Just done DD's hair, we do combing weekly, have been 2 weeks this time what with Christmas etc.

Normally clear, or one tramping through and a couple of eggs whipped away quick. Was completely clear last time.

This time there were about 10 dead lice

Is it just me or is that really odd? I know they have to die, but I am obsessively thorough - not to find any living or any eggs, just a load of dead ones seems really bizarre!

Is a pure chocolate diet the answer to killing lice??

They live 2-3 weeks.

So it may be a natural death, not chococide!

Do you think they were planted...?

Don't know if a pure chocolate diet's the answer, but I'd be willing to test it, or at least to see whether it stopped me getting lice .

I love the idea that chocolate kills them - if that's the case we'd be completely clear Sadly, not!!! We're back to the combing through with conditioner every couple of days - it normally takes 3 weeks to be completely clear. And then you just have to hope that everyone else at school is clear too Happy New Year and good luck.
