Does anyone have their tragus pierced and if so, how was the healing? Is it really hard to put foundation makeup on without knocking it? Had other cartlidge piercings so it's the placement of the tragus I'm particularly wondering about. Thanks in advance

Had mine done last year. It definitely took a few months to heal properly. Wear a titanium stud until it's healed, not surgical steel and don't twist it, just clean with cooled boiled water.

Thank you for replying. Do you wear makeup... Was it a nightmare to apply foundation? (gosh, I'm so vain 🤣)

Tbh I don't wear foundation. I did catch it a lot early on but it has settled down and if I occasionally catch it now, it isn't sore

I pierced my own at 15 with a bit of ice and vodka Grin 20 years later, it's still fine.

My only question is, why are you putting make up on your ears? I'm utterly shite with make up so maybe I've no clue but...

Mine took a few months to feel healed, and 3 years on I still have the same bar in. In relation to foundation I used a brush to apply (have done for years) and often brush over the piercing, but apart from having to wipe it off (use my finger), I've never had any issue. I use dissolved sea salt to clean all my piercings....I have lobes x2, helix x2, tragus, conch and rook, and all have been fine.

Thanks all.
@TheCanyon I won't actually be putting it on my ear, more worrying about catching it or accidentally getting makeup on it as it's so close to my face iyswim 😂
