How do grey hairs know where your parting is?

I swear I have a few grey hairs along my parting but if I sweep my hair over there are none

how do they know?

And don't be fooled into thinking you can change your parting - they'll move!! Oh yes - darn clever little things grey hairs

how come they spring up suddenly as great long hairs,I mean how come I didn't notice the fucker before when it was growing.

And why must they disguise themselves as curly pubes on my head when the rest of my hair is naturally straight? Do they know how to make themselves more conspicuous?

They are vile. And how is it than when you decide to dye your hair, everything gets dyed EXCEPT for the grey bits?

I have very short, dead straight, jet black hair.....

however...

I have a slightly longer, very curly, grey clump of hair, jutting out from one of my shaved sideburns!!!!

And why do they always grow vertically, never in alignment with the rest of one's hair? And are four times as thick as the other hairs??

mine are like curly pubes too!
