Haemorrhoid cream on the eyes - does it really work?

Mostly I just try to ignore the wrinkles under my eyes, but it would be nice to tighten them up on occasion. So would haemorrhoid cream do the trick? If so, which brand, and is cream or gel better?

bran, yes it does work, my dh used to do photography so he knows all about making the best of wrinkles etc. Not sure if there is a best type, i think the usual anusol will suffice.
Lol at the thought of going into chemist and getting cream and telling them "just for my face".

I've just started using - not seen much difference yet but will persevere!

Does it work for under-eye bags too? Mine are starting to look like potato sacks.

I always thought this was meant to be a quick fix not something for permanent use????

There was a thread about this only a couple of weeks ago and a few MNers who were going to give it a go. I recommended it to my mum after she was whineing about her eyes and she is giving it a go as well, but it is too soon to say whether it works.

Thanks everyone - I'll try it for my 20-year school reunion, I don't know why it's so important to impress people I haven't seen since I left Dublin 16 years ago, but it is.

Did anyone have any bad reactions to it? My skin is sensitive to most things, I'll give it a try a couple of weeks beforehand just in case.
