Anyones child do Irish dancing ???

My Dd1 (7), is really interested in it and keeps asking if she can do it.

I don't know anything about it, and just wondered if anyone else did.

My god, just looked at the price of the second hand dresses. DD will be sticking with ballet and its exams rather than the whole competition thing. Thats why we avoided disco, plus the fact I hate disco outfits very tacky IMO. Sorry if anyone is a mad disco fan .
