Really boring question alert - Why have my pc speakers stopped working ???

Having been inspired to play 'Songs about Jane', I've discovered that my 15 month old pc speakers are not working. I've checked the obvious stuff like volume and connections but to no avail. Can you shed any light on this ?

All seem ok, custy, although it is dark under the desk so seeing anything is a challenge. I think I'll let DH deal with it when he gets back on Thurs.

Is there a ridculous mute button you hit by accident on the keyboard? Try "My Computer", Control panel, sounds & devices and uninstall or something?

NomDePlume · 16/11/2004 20:30

I'll check it out, sunny, thanks

My PC speakers did exactly the same thing, worked one minute and not the next. If you have an extended warranty, call the support people and they should just send you a new set of speakers (that's what I did).

P.S. Also got the name JAYNE - spooky eh?
