Renting privately

Currently 30 weeks 😊

We've been accepted for a house (privately renting) and currently sorting through the documents with the estate agents. A move in date was set for 14th Jan.
Obviously there's a lot of things we need to buy but I don't want to buy it incase we get decking for whatever reason...
They've already done our credit checks and character references, just waiting on employer references.
But also don't want it to be a rush to try get everything on one day before we move.
How long does it normally take? And when should I start shopping for it?!?

Where are you currently living. Can you stay there for a futher few days in order to get the basics. You'll need a cooker and fridge as well as utensils etc. Tv and wifi will need installing. At 30 weeks you'll definitely need a bed. The rest you can do as you go along. So long as you can cook and sleep you'll be fine.
