my 6 month old decided a few weeks ago he no longer will take a dummy, and i would love for him to take it again. I’ve tried a whole bunch of dummies, even the ones for breast fed babies (he’s EBF) the only ones he will suck for a few seconds now are BIBS. he used to love the dummy and it helped so much because he wants to suck the whole time he’s asleep, which is lovely but sometimes i need to put him in his cot. He hates the car seat and being changed and the dummy helped all of this.
how can i get him to take it again?
please no comments about having to take it away when he’s older. if he really doesn’t want it then that’s okay, i’m also trying to introduce a comforter and i’ve tried a million things for the car/being changed, but the dummy is the only thing that ever worked.
