Has anyone else noticed the Barnaby Bear programme on cbeebies? DS cries when it ends he loves it so much. And for once a kid co-star who comes across as normal. Anyway, we're big fans - are you?

I find him an irritating little b*** actually. Mainly because I keep singing the song from the 70's show "Barnaby the Bear's my name! Please don't call me Jack or James..." and that's the only bit I can remember!

DS1 seems to like him, but not as much as Clifford.

Oh, BB is a right wuss! There was a great song on the other day though, "Trains are fantastic", which I have been singing to myself ever since. Sad or what?!

That's it - forget Gina blooming Ford - anyone who slags off my Barnaby slags me off too - am now going off in a huff to sing trains are fantastic. Actually, think Barnaby is a bit of a dork, but like the kid.

Is it always the same kid? (Have only seen it once) She was really good.

All together now: "Trains are fantastic, fantastic, fantastic..."

Yesterday was an afro-carribbean girl in Loch Ness, today appeared to be a blonde girl falling down a mountain.

Willow2 · 18/10/2002 17:11

I thought it was just the first girl - didn't know about the other (damn, have just blown my no 1 fan cover)

The blonde could have just been a extra - Barnaby had to ask what her name was. I honestly only watched about a minute of it!!

emmabee · 18/10/2002 17:24

Yeah yeah yeah. Admit it, you've got it on a loop....

What a truly horrible thought...
