Help! Got a message yesterday saying we had to retune the channels as part of the new package, which dp did, but no CBeebies! We also seem to have lost BBC News 24 and BBC4, dp's favourite channel! Maybe they're testing or soething but there's no mention of it on the BBC website or on the digital text. My sons will be distraught if we don't get Clifford, Blue Cow etc back soon. Can anyone help?

Switch to Sky!!!! I did about a year ago and haven't regretted it for one minute. The picture is so much better and it almost never goes down (my ntl cable went down all the time).

Sky is the only way forward.

We bought a digital box (which gives you free to air channels only), and CBeebies is on that. After retuning, it went from channel 13 to 33. The outlay with buying a box is more (£100ish), but means that you don't have to pay a subscription to any cable/satellite companies. Of course, you don't get any of the extra channels.

Sorry Fionn, this probably doesn't help at all!

We have a ITV digital box and it is dead simple, you just have to retune the box!

Firstly take out the card in the box, then go to the Getting Started section under the Menu button.

Then go to store channels and select that, and it will update all the channels.

Cbeebies has moved to no.31, our most important channel!!!

Hope this is enough info, any probs just ask!

Many thanks, dp has retuned it again and all the family favourites are there! Some of the new free to air channels look interesting, the history one especially. It looks like a good package, and BBC4 has some great stuff.

Even though dp is a footie fan he doesn't want Sky as so many people we know who have it just have it on all the time, and he likes the chance to go the pub to watch when his team are on. I'm not very fond of Murdoch either. Did you know that when the playwright Dennis Potter was dying he christened his tumour "Rupert" as he hated him so much!
