When the sterilizing cycle is finished, either remove contents and use straightaway or leave the lid closed and contents will remain sterile for up to 24 hours.

Does this mean every time I want a bottle I have to re sterilise as I have opened the lid?

I've got the Tommee Tippee microwave steriliser which holds four bottles. I take one bottle out at a time and replace the lid until I need another one. I'm not sure if that's the correct way to do it, but DS is seven months old now and we've had no problems. I think as long as you only touch the one you're going to use it should be fine.

No. Just put the lid back on immediately.

We have a TT prep machine upstairs for nightfeeds and take a bottle with teat and lid on up stairs at night as obviously once it's sealed it's still sterile until the 24hrs are up.

I've got the mam self sterilising bottles and just make them up when they're cool enough to handle and they've been fine
