Getting separated Need to be rehoused

my partner and I are council tenants with a 4 year old and I’m 8 months pregnant. I want to separate with me but one of us need to give up the tenancy. He doesn’t want to and I can’t afford private for now. What options do I have?

How are things now @pearley? Has he gone yet?

Is it a joint tenancy?
Have you spoken to the housing department to find out your options if you end the tenancy?
