I haven't used one either but always wondered if they work and also do they give you the hebbie jeebies when they are pulsing away?

The woman who fitted me for my wedding dress recently advised they do (as I cringed at my belly) she says it took her 8 weeks of using one, after her daughter to flatten herself out!

I got the Slendertone BT ad have no idea if it works, just used it twice as I couldn't bother to fiddle so much with the sticking parts, I used to spend 10 min trying to get it on, 10min wearing it, and other 5 minutes to remove it, at the end I realised that in a little more than that time I could manage a pilates session and forgot about it. I'm thinking of selling it on Ebay...

My experience is exactly the same as Chandra's. By the time you've got it on, you could have done a workout.

Mine's languishing under my bed, waiting for when I have a free two hours (so another twenty or so years, I reckon!)

I've got one and tink it is great. I put it on in the morning and wear it whilst I'm doing housecleaning, etc. You don't just do 1 programme....you can do lots as it just helps to tone muscles in your tum. The same thing can be done with sit-ups, but I can't do exercise as I suffer with a bad back.

It's one of those things you have to stick with to see results.

bellpeppers, you have noticed a change then? how long did it take to start working,do you use it everyday? I do pilates, but only once a week, think I will start using it tommorrow.

used to have one. Took about 4 weeks to make a difference but then it definitely tightened my midrif. Fair enough in the time one puts it on, does the program and takes it of again one could do a pilates etc. However... just slouching in front of telly in evening whilst 'pulsing away' is much easier 'grin'.

Sold mine on ebay after first baby as I found it painful to use after c-section

Is this the one that looks like a belt or the one with all the pads?
