Does anyone know anything about Cigars????

Trying to buy a cigar for DH for Christmas. I really do mean just "one" - as I know the really good quality ones are pretty expensive - and I don't have lots of money to spend.

BUT I have no idea what brand/name/type to get him...

Does anyone, or their OH, smoke cigars or know enough about them to advise me????

DH and my dad have one from time to time and they both like

romeo y julieta , romeo no.2 is decent enough and not a silly price

I don't mind spending up to (about) £15-20 - but obviously if someone recommends a decent one that's cheaper even better .

Is your dh normally a smoker?

Mine often has one or 2 at Christmas (as does his dad who doesn't smoke!). I think he normally buys a small pack of Hamlet?? (longish thin ones iirc).

The big fat Cuban or Havana ones are for connoisseurs (I think)

Yes - well yes and no - he does smoke, but not "reguarly" - ie he can go days,weeks, or even months between cigarettes. He did buy a box of (cheap and horrible) cigars but really wants to try something a little better quality.
