Audio Description on Sky

One of the children must have done something to the TV and I've got audio description on Inspector Morse! I've changed the settings all to off but it's still there and that patronising, badly-written soft tone is driving me BONKERS! Does anyone know what's happened and how I can get rid of it?!

It is in the same option as subtitles, button on the right under the arrows - help, i think ( DH is asleep and sitting on remote!)
then you just use the arrow buttons to change the settings and press select and it shoul go away.

I do it to wind up DH, it's funny!
Plus imagine that was your job, to narrate everything, would drive you bonkers

Oh, in that case I don't know!

ummm.. have you tried unplugging box, taking out the card and then plugging it back in after a few minutes? (you may need to wait for an ad break!)

Was wondering whether to try that...

If you go into

Services
System Set up
Language & subtitles
Change Audio Description to OFF
then save settings.

This according to DH should sort out the problem.

Right, have tried turning off the power, pulling out plugs and taking out the card and all sorts of permutations. But the settings say that audio description is off but it's still there. I can't stand it! Off to the BBC!

lizziemun, I know that should work, but it just doesn't. I'm going bonkers here!
