I just wanted to shout from the roof tops how proud I am of my DS 5 next week.
Some of you may recall the problems I had with him at his pre-school, he had assessment after assessment because the leader of the pre-school was convinced there was something wrong with him, even when our gut instincts were that he was fine, we stressed how he needed firm commands etc etc, he was even tested as autism was suspected so obviously a little anxious about the meeting today.
She was very pleased with not only Ds behaviour, but also his work, he is slightly advanced for his age and she admitted that after reading his report from the pre-school she was a little worried about him joining, but she has had no problems whatsoever, she is a lovely teacher who is very firm, but fair and DS obviously has responded and blossomed under her care, she also said that she will have a word with the pre-school to let them know he is fine. I had the meeting an hour ago and cant stop smiling.
