I moved into a new flat around 3 months ago and one of the neighbours children has become such a nuisance to me and my partner.
I live on the ground floor so I expected some noise (close door, people walking past etc) but one of the neighbour's children is so noisy.
She is about 9 or 10 years old and stands outside either my front door, my living room window and my bedroom window and screams up to the top flat to call on her mum. And when i say scream I mean screeching at the top of her lungs.
This happens every morning before school and every single night. It was worse during the summer holidays as myself and my partner are working from home so we just put up with it, but very annoying when speaking with clients and she's outside my window.
I don't understand why she can't just walk up the stairs to speak to her mum and it's beginning to drive me mad!
I would speak to the mum but she really doesn't seem to care. The mum even had a go at me one day because I was emptying my bin too loudly in the middle of the afternoon!
I'm not sure what is the best way to go about this, all the flats in my block are council apart from mine, but not sure if putting in a noise complaint would just aggravate things.
Please help me!
