Icarus.

I got home this afternoon to a huge parcel. The most beautiful co sleeper cot, an angel alarm and bundles of baby clothes.

Your kindness and generosity have left me speechless. I am literally lost for words.

Thank you. Thank you so much.

And thank you to MrsMills who sent dd3 a replacement nintendo game and who never received her (unsent) thank you present which we ended up eating ourselves - twice, as we ate the replacement as well.

As for the christmas mumsnetter who sent us the cuddly rabbit - it will take pride of place in our new cot.

All I need now is a baby.

Thank you all, so very very much.

My husband is a huge mumsnet sceptic but even he can see and understand the huge undercurrent of overwhelming support, kindness and love shown to us by often complete strangers, during the worst days of our lives.

I don't know what I would have done without you.

Cringe at my poor French. I hope your Dh didn't laugh too much .

All this niceness is too much for a wee lassie brought up by Calvinists. .

ggglimpopo · 04/12/2007 17:08

Probably better than his English, Icarus!
