I tell you why I stay up so late and you can tell me whether there are any similarities for you.

The 2 littlies (2 years and 6 months) are finally in bed by 20.00, and then I start my household chores which are finished by 22.00, therefore only personal time of the day is between 22.00 and midnight when I finally hit the sack. Familiar at all?

Mine are in bed by 7.30-8 too, I have a quick rush round and tidy up of toys (two hours of chores - no way, not in my "me" time!) then I think "I'll just pop on MN for ONE MINUTE, just to catch up on ehat's happening"...and 4 hours later my bum's numb and my eyes can no longer focus properly...
