I know how to attach hoses etc, but which bit do I put the water in?

Which model is it. In the orange drag along ones you put the clean water and solution in the top orange layer. You can download instructions for some models from their website iirc.

If you go onto their website you might be able to download the instruction manual -I did this with a carpet cleaner (not a Vax one though)I was given that didn't have any instructions with it.

Sigh. I remember when VAX was a popular make of computer before world domination by PCs and microsoft set in. We used to find it funny that it was also the name of a wet vac.
