Knitting when TTC?

This may seem like a silly question, but is it too early to start knitting baby stuff when I'm still TTC?
I thought it might keep my mind focused on what I'm aiming for and stop me worry so much! But I don't want to get ahead of myself!

Not odd at all. You could always start knitting for the local maternity ward if you get too many things.

I certainly don't think it's too early.

Would just say to be aware of how emotional some people can be while TTC - it takes longer for some than others, and it may upset you to have those little baby things around if it takes you a while (although 🤞🏻 it happens quickly!)

Thank you @BunnyRuddington and @stopknockingonmydoor
My thinking is that it takes me forever to knit anything anyways, but yeah, I'm slightly worried it might upset me, but hopefully it'll just keep me focused on our goal 🤞🏽

You could always knot yourself a thong if you want a fun night whilst TTC Grin

@BunnyRuddington OMG! That is terrifying and amazing all at the same time 😂 don't think I could convince my partner to To DTD if I was wearing that 😂

I've found some more knitting patterns OP.

Can you tell that I liked the fun bit of TTC? Grin

Start now!!

When you have a newborn it's impossible to find time to finish projects. Also can be a nightmare when pregnant.

First trimester I was to sick to craft, second I found some energy, third I was too big and tired and then my hands started cramping.

I started making blankets when I was TTC just in case , it took about 14 months for me to conceive.

One of my sons blankets is bittersweet for me, I started making it after miscarriage

Omg @BunnyRuddington 😂 got to love a ridiculous knitting pattern!

@whoknew23 Thank you! That makes me feel a bit less of a weirdo 😂 makes sense that it can actually be quite hard when pregnant!

My friend asked me to be godmother then it went quiet. A few weeks later I asked when the baby was due: "oh I'm not pregnant yet". (Babies have since been had Smile)

My DSis got invited to a Wedding recently. When she pointed out that her DF didn't have a DP she was assured that it was just a formality and everything had been planned. So there's a bloke out there not knowing anything about this at all...Grin

Blimey ha ha! That reminds me of that French & Saunders sketch where they're having a pre-wedding get together and everything's organised. "Let's check the list again: No.1 - get a boyfriend."
